Direct quotations from named sources are preserved verbatim, with the speaker or organization being quoted always identified; surrounding analysis, structure, and framing are original to Xploitwire. Every draft passes through an automated fact-check step that verifies claims against the underlying source material before publication — articles that fail this check are not published. Where a relevant primary source (a CVE record, vendor advisory, or official statement) is available, articles link to it inline rather than relying on secondhand paraphrase.
Editorial oversight
Xploitwire is founded and edited by Iliyas, who sets the fact-checking thresholds, source- corroboration requirements, and confidence-labeling rules the pipeline runs under. Every article passes an automated fact-check gate before going live; individual articles are not read one-by-one by a human editor before publication, but the policies governing what gets published and how are set and maintained directly by Iliyas. Stories are periodically spot-checked afterward, and any article can be corrected or taken down if an issue is found — corrections are logged publicly on the article itself.
