At its Made by Google '26 event on Wednesday, Google stepped into the item-tracker market with a direct challenge to Apple's AirTag. The company introduced the Pixel Tag, a $29 device designed to help users keep tabs on their valuables, alongside its new lineup of Pixel 11 smartphones. The Pixel Tag leverages Google's Find Hub network, which taps into Android devices around the world to locate lost items.
